Empowering humanitarian innovation through Open Source

Where you’re from and where you are now?
I am from Goa, India, now in Stockholm, Sweden

What you were doing before joining UNICEF?
Before joining UNICEF, I worked with Red Hat, building platform apps and operating systems such as Fedora and CentOS Linux. I also served in Fedora Council and Mindshare as DEI advisor and Mentorship lead for the Fedora community.

What has been your biggest success in your role at UNICEF?
Helping us understand and leverage the power of Open Source - as the key enabler for sustainable development goals.

What was your dream job when you were a child?
A scientist "making" dinosaur.

What is your hidden skill / talent?
Brewing different flavors of coffee with the same bean, same process. Especially pour overs, a passion I've cultivated over the years.
