Where are you from and where are you now?
I'm from India and currently work and live in Stockholm. Mentally still in New York.
What were you doing before joining UNICEF?
I worked with various international organizations providing technical research on development economics and innovative finance with a focus on gender. I also co-founded Global Youth, an international forum for engaging youth in foreign affairs.
What has been your biggest success in your role at UNICEF?
Developing a strong pipeline for the Venture Fund to receive over 1500 submissions annually from the most passionate problem solvers around the world. It's a heartening experience to work alongside UNICEF experts to identify and invest in solutions, especially female-founded companies for the UN's first of its kind VC.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
I wanted to be an archaeologist but I guess I like living in the present.
What is your hidden skill/talent?
I love assembling things, furniture, puzzles, houses...
