Where you’re from and where you are now?
I am from India and currently living and working from Stockholm.
What you were doing before joining UNICEF?
I was running a multi-disciplinary design practice with a partner. We were based out of New Delhi, India, and consulting in the space of digital products, publications and branding.
What has been your biggest success in your role at UNICEF?
The ability to work on projects that have the potential for a large scale impact. An example would be Project Connect, an initiative that seeks to map every school in the world and the status of the internet connectivity. Using design tools to help guide the thinking of a multi-disciplinary team and solve fairly complex problems, is something that brings a strong sense of fulfilment into my everyday work.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
It dream started with becoming a dancer and then gravitated towards being a motorcycle rider (if that could be a job).
What is your hidden skill/talent?
The ability to groove with a wide genres of music. I am perpetual optimist and can help uplift the spirit of my peers.
