Where you're from and where you are now?
I grew up by Lake Constance in southern Germany, and now live in Munich.
What were you doing before joining UNICEF?
I started out as a strategy consultant at McKinsey, working across industries on growth and organizational challenges. I also co-founded and sold a startup myself and worked at a venture capital firm in Munich.
What has been your biggest success in your role at UNICEF?
Still very early to say, but I am looking forward to having an impact on sourcing the next generation of successful startups.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
For a good few years, I was completely set on becoming a marine biologist. Even though that dream did not become a reality, I still enjoy everything in and around water.
What is your hidden skill / talent?
I have an unusually good sense of direction and I rarely get lost
