Where you’re from and where you are now?
I’m from New York and currently living in Brazil.
What you were doing before joining UNICEF?
Living, dreaming, and working around the Middle East and North Africa. I was the MENA Regional Manager and working as a digital nomad with Seedstars, a global organization with a mission to impact people's lives in emerging markets through technology and entrepreneurship.
What has been your biggest success in your role at UNICEF?
I consider all the portfolio companies I have the pleasure of working with as my kids and working with them and having the opportunity to support their journeys, has been my biggest accomplishment during my time with UNICEF. Seeing the first-hand tangible impact and results that these solutions bring for children is what inspires me in this job.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
To be a math teacher. I took this ambition very seriously and even had an overhead projector to practice my lessons.
What is your hidden skill / talent?
The ability to sleep absolutely anywhere, when travelling.
