Where you’re from, and where you are now?
I have recently returned to Stockholm – my hometown – after over 10 years working and living in Germany.
What you were doing before joining UNICEF?
Working in the global asset management sector, leading cross-regional product strategy and change initiatives. I also work for the World Economic Forum for a shorter period, on a study and paper of blockchain use cases for financial institutions – something that sparked my interest in that technology, and the wish to “do something more”.
What has been your biggest success in your role at UNICEF?
I have not been around for that long, and I must say I am blessed having such an amazing and diverse team so the successes we have had, like building an even stronger team and increased collaboration across UNICEF and with our partners, is fully attributed to the team-effort!
What was your dream job when you were a child?
I had a difficult time to choose and really loved animals… depending on age I have ranged between a vet, running a kennel, actress, pilot, diplomat…
What is your hidden skill / talent?
I sense people and moods strongly. My husband also say I can talk my way out of anything 😊
