Where you’re from, and where you are now?
I'm from New York City and currently reside there.
What you were doing before joining UNICEF?
In a previous part of my career, I worked in financial services risk management and regulation. I have since shifted to more data science centered work. Prior to UNICEF, I was at a large enterprise software company based in Silicon Valley.
What has been your biggest success in your role at UNICEF?
Being involved with all of the phases of interaction of early-stage startups with the Venture Fund from the Request for Proposal screening phase, through selection, milestone setting, many months of mentorship to graduation from their corresponding cohort.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
Can't say I had a real dream job as a child. I aspired to be something that made a real connection to people's lives.
What is your hidden skill / talent?
Winning the Carmen Sandiego game as a child many times over.
