Abdurhman Abrar is a Software Developer and AI Researcher dedicated to building practical, high-impact digital solutions for Ethiopia. He is the Project Lead of Horizon Truth, driving its vision and technical direction through UNICEF’s Venture Fund support.
He also leads AI and system development at Jimma University and serves as CTO of Dabbal Software PLC, delivering national-scale platforms including the Ministry of Peace Youth Volunteer System, research management systems for multiple universities, FDRE ETA’s academic document verification platform, the Shegger City one-stop service system, and the HETRIIL education–industry linkage platform. He is committed to advancing inclusive and community-centered digital transformation.
